This website came to be after a long, frustrating search for a simple .csv date list of all US Federal Holidays.

I was attempting to build a Power BI report to determine an employees billable hours goals, but wanted to make sure that holidays didn't count as billable days.

Rather than simply doing a work-around such as removing 8 hours from December and May, for example, I wanted to know what actual days had been taken off company-wide and remove them from the total that month. I did a lot of googling, even going so far as to ask ChatGPT, and was never able to find exactly what I wanted. So I decided to make it.

Some notes here --

Business Holidays List is currently only working with US Federal Holidays and a few other common days (the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, etc). I plan to expand, but it will take time.
Business Holidays List is currently allowing a maximum spread of 200 years. This is because I am a bad programmer and need to optimize some functions. I'm sorry. If you'd like to see examples of really good programming, I suggest you go to literally any other website.

This website is free to use and will remain free so long as I own it. Use it to help with reporting, HR, team calendars, etc. Maybe your employee handbook requires a list of holidays, or you work in a billable hours environment and want to solve the same problems I had above, or perhaps you just need to assemble a holiday calendar for your department, whatever the case may be, Business Holidays List has got your back.
